Trip to the Mini World's End.......

We went on our batch trip on 3rd of January this year. We went to Rever's Turn, which is considered to be the mini world's end. We started the journey at around six in the morning. It took about nine hours to reach there. We had to change the buses we travelled because, they were too large to travel along the mountain roads. So, we had to go a distance of 15km by a small bus.

We started climbing at about 3:30p.m. The weather was so cold and the wind also was so strong. We managed to reach the top of the mountain at about 5 p.m. We spent some time there, and climbed down the hill. It was dark, when we reached down. The day was a poya day, therefore we could see around through the moon light. Then we were dropped down after travelling a distance about 5 km by the small bus, because the bus had to go back.
From there onwards we started walking. The road was laid through a pinus jungle. We could hear the sound of water falls which were by the sides of the road. We walked about two kilometers in the moon-lit night. Afterthat, a lorry(canter) was stopped and asked us to get in. From there onwards, we travelled by the back of the lorry. My friends sat down in the lorry close together because it was freezing cold. There I remembered an event of a refugee film. However after 15 minutes drive, we reached the place where our buses were parked. Then we got in the buses and started travel back home. We had dinner from Kandy at around 10 p.m. Then we came to the university at about 1 in the next morning.

I had a great experience from that trip. It will be an unforgetable journey in my life....
